I have to share the success I had this morning after your class. I went to Kohls for miscellaneous things I needed. While there I looked at some shorts for me. I picked out the size I normally wear and they looked too big so I went down to the smaller size and went to the dressing room knowing that I would probably be squeezing into them --- Guess what, the smaller size fit. Same thing happened with a t-shirt I liked -- I am celebrating my success. Even though I have not dropped the pounds I want to, being faithful to my workouts is obviously bringing off the inches. Of course it is not hard to be faithful to workouts because you and each of the instructions make working out a good experience with the positive and friendly place you have created. Thank you! P
Before Jazzercise, I would spend my day taking care of my children and my house. These days would be filled with the joy every mother experiences while watching her children grow. These days were also filled with coffee...LOTS of coffee to help me make it through my day. I was more than 60 pounds overweight just sitting there waiting for a change. In the past, I had lost 20 pounds by changing my diet. It always came back! I needed something else...something fun, exciting, and cost effective.
Then, at a PTO meeting in March, my fellow PTO members suggested Jazzercise because it is the only facility in our area with childcare. It took me a week but on March 14, 2010 I made the call that would change me forever.
Jazzercise classes are filled with awesome people who offer truck loads of support and encouragement. The instructors are really good at pushing me to the next level and I can ask them anything and they do everything to help me! I love it here. My children are in great hands for the hour I spend Jazzin off stress and pounds! As I like to put it, the proof is in the pudding: I have lost 30 pounds, 14 1/2 inches, and 2 full jean sizes since March! It's not so much what I've lost but what I've gained that's important: I've gained a life! I'm halfway to my goal weight, I have energy, I have muscle definition, and I have a FUN exercise routine. So...Thank you Donna and ALL the Jazzercise instructors for helping me change my life! Sincerely, Heather
I have been attending Jazzercise since October of 2008. Although I am relatively new to the program, I already know that I have made the best choice for a workout program for myself. I have been an athelete my entire life. I am also an avid runner. In the short time I have been in Jazzercise I have seen more positve changes in my body than from all the other types of exercise programs I have tried. I have reduced my trouble spot significantly-that stubborn back fat. I can also see more definition in the muscles in my arms and legs. When I first heard of Jazzercise I thought it was simply aerobics. I can say from experience that it is a full body workout combined with strength training and great music. But, by far the best part about Jazzercise is the people. Everyone who works for the program and all of the students in the class are nice, helpful and above all fun. I know this is a program I can stick with and will enjoy for many years to come. Mel
After joining Jazzercise in 1984, I quickly realized the program was perfect for me and made it an integral part of my life. Then, after I broke my knee and patellar tendon in July 2000, Jazzercise became more than just a fun fitness program. The doctor allowed me to resume normal activities 3 months after surgery and Jazzercise was back in my routine. Thanks to the various levels of intensity offered, I was able to increase strength and endurance, regain full range of motion of my knee and even participate in Jazzercise Step classes again within the year. So, when my husband and I decided to relocate to
Delaware, having Jazzercise nearby was a major consideration in choosing neighborhoods. Living without Jazzercise was never an option. Then, I found the Middletown Jazzercise Fitness Center and the rest is history! Joan
Since starting Jazzercise at age 56, 9 years ago. I am able to rise up out of bed with no aches and pains. With my mother and aunt having osteoperosis, thanks to Jazzercise I have "earned" a great T score. The most important improvements due to child bearing and hereditary, I have cystocycle problems...on my visit this fall to my gynocologist she said I have gone from a Grade 2 to Grade 1 and this is because of the core work we do in class! Jazzercise is one of the best things to happen to me in a long time. God has finally given me a 'fresh start' this year with the motivation to care about being healthy, using portion control, and wanting to care about exercising and pushing my body. I haven't been 'in the zone', which is my silly name for when I'm consciously eating healthier and treating my body to exercise, since before my first miscarriage almost 2 years ago (I've had 2 and it's been a long road to come back to this point). I needed this and it's been a blessing. Thank you for the classes, the energy of the instructors, the open spirit to accept woman of all shapes and sizes, and the opportunity. Anonymous
